Carugua is an unknown primate of Ybytymí area, Paraguay. Kills cattle by pulling their tongues out. In the 1940s, in nearly eight months, about 100 cattle were found dead in the Ybytymí area with no wounds except for their tongues being torn out. The events re-curred in 1952 or 1953 on a different ranch.
