A strange, hybridal species, the Gatormen (not to be confused with the New Jersey Gator Man ) are found in swamps in the American Southeast, in places like Florida and Louisiana. The creature was primarily sighted in the 18th and 19th centuries.
It was described as 5-6 feet tall, the Gatormen have scaly bodies, long, think tails, a humanoid torso (complete with clawed arms), alligator legs and feet, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. The Gatormen are known to live in groups, communicate through guttural calls, and some sightings suggest they can use simple tools.
