
The African pygmy elephant is the small subspecies of the African forest elephant, which would live in the tropical jungles and rainforests of Central Africa. They are smaller than African forest elephants. They are critically endangered like the African forest elephant and having oval shaped ears and down ward pointing tusks like them. Some are red and Some have dark coloured skin. They are also found in dense, Swampy rainforests and jungles of Central Africa. They also found in Gabon’s national parks.
They are aggressive like the African forest elephant.
They eat grass at night.
