The Yarru, also known as the Yarrba, is a Plesiosaur-like creature in Aborginese legends in Australia. The Yalanji Tribe in nothern Queensland say that it used to live in rain forest watering holes. A painting of one shows a acute plesiosaur. The painting also shows the animals gastro-intestinal tract, showing that they were hunted, or at least the painters happened upon a corpse.

Unlike the Kulta, sightings of Plesiosaurs continue today. The Hawksbury River Monster and the Beast of Bynoe Harbor are thought to be a plesiosaurs. The Hawksbury River Monster is often called Australia's Loch Ness Monster. If the reports are true, then the Yarru may still be alive today.
